West Hollywood Plans Veterans Day Ceremony November 11; City Hall Will Be Closed

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Los Angeles County — West Hollywood’s official November calendar lists a Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Sal Guarriello Veterans’ Memorial, at Santa Monica Boulevard and Holloway Drive.

City officials plan to join representatives of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department in recognizing veterans and their service.

What changes for city services?

The city calendar marks Veterans Day as a municipal holiday and says City Hall will be closed. The schedule for the library, parks, parking enforcement and other services may follow separate rules and should not be assumed from the City Hall announcement alone.

Residents who need a city permit or appointment should schedule around the municipal closure. The city also lists a Public Facilities Commission meeting on November 11 as canceled.

How to confirm the ceremony

The city publishes the location and contact number (323) 848-6534 for more information. Weather and security conditions may affect outdoor events, so check official updates before heading to the memorial.
