WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Residents have a chance to help shape the future of Plummer Park as the city develops a comprehensive improvement plan. The official Engage WeHo community participation portal lists the Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan among its current consultation projects, with a November 2, 2026 update.
Why resident input matters
Major park planning can affect how existing spaces are used, which activities receive priority and how future improvements are phased. West Hollywood is asking community members to take part in envisioning the park’s future. The presence of a consultation is not evidence that a final design, construction contract or project completion date has already been approved.
How to participate
Residents can open the project page through the city’s official engagement portal to check current surveys, meetings, public-comment opportunities and posted documents. Different consultation activities may have different deadlines, so a general project listing should not be treated as an indefinite open comment period.
What should be checked before construction
When a preferred plan emerges, the relevant city decisions may involve funding, accessibility, park programming and construction impacts. Readers should distinguish community suggestions from proposals endorsed by city staff and from projects actually authorized by the City Council. Any future temporary restrictions at the park should be verified through official notices rather than assumed from a planning map.
